THE BEGINNING

Following a meeting between Alexy and Yanick, the executive chef of Yuzu Sushi, an idea sprouted. It all started with their shared desire to impact food waste by working together.

The concept

Thus, the team set out to collaboratively create a drink from unsold items from the food industry, specifically tailored to reflect Yuzu Sushi's branding. To achieve this, team members had to be creative!

The Lemonade

From this was born the first sparkling lemonade made from real unsold fruits and from yuzu of the country! A lemonade that can be enjoyed at all Yuzu Sushi locations in Quebec.

Lime Yuzu Cocktail

Instructions :

  • Fill a glass halfway with ice.
  • In a shaker, add 1,5 oz of vodka and 1 oz of lime juice with a few ice cubes.
  • Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  • Pour the vodka mixture into the half-filled glass with ice.
  • Fill the glass with 3 oz of sparkling yuzu lemonade.
  • Garnish the glass with a slice of lime and serve immediately.
